Koolit Gel Packs are also known as blue ice, gel ice, phase change materials, and PCMs. The 600 series Koolit gel packs are high quality and economical. They feature a long-lasting, non-toxic polymer gel encased in a thick 5-mil white polyethylene pouch for dependability. The 0°C (32°F) gel formulation is ideal for the shipment of refrigerated products. It also has application for First Aid type Ice Packs for aches, pains, burns, etc. One of the most common and practical uses for this product (especially this particular size), is to put a few of these in a lunch box cooler to keep sandwiches and drinks fresh all day long.
