Moist heat option: • Dampen either side of the heating pad with water by patting the surface with a wet sponge or cloth, or use a spray bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak the pad. • Do not spray or dampen the pad connector. Cleaning and Maintenance •Be sure to disconnect the appliance from the mains by removing the plug from the power outlet and cooling it down for at least ten minutes before cleaning. •Use only a soft brush to clean the heating pad when dry. •DO NOT use strong detergents or hard brushes to clean the heating pad. •Untangle the cable from time to time. •When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down. Store the unit in a clean and dry place, lay out flat with nothing covering or resting on top of it. Note: •The connector of the controller and the pad must be interconnected before plugging the appliance to a power source. •IMPORTANT - This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
