These symptoms include fever, sore throat, cough, nasal and chest congestion, aching, and thick mucus. CVS Health Severe Cold Maximum Strength Softgels are alcohol-free. Do not use more CVS Health Severe Cold Maximum Strength Softgels than is recommended on the package. Take no more than 12 CVS Health Severe Cold Maximum Strength Softgels in a 24 hour period. Adults and children 12 years old and older can take 2 softgels every 4 hours, and children under the age of 12 should not use this product at all. CVS Health Severe Cold Maximum Strength Softgels should not be taken with alcohol or other drugs including acetaminophen, as this may cause damage to the liver. Take caution in allergic reactions and consult a physician if blisters, skin reddening, or a rash occurs. If a sore throat persists longer than 2 days and it is accompanied by rash, headache, nausea, vomiting, and headache, consult a doctor immediately. CVS Health Severe Cold Maximum Strength Softgels are to be kept away from children. This product also has an overdose warning: if more than the recommended dose is taken, contact Poison Control and a medical professional immediately. This is critical for adults and children even if there are no obvious symptoms of an overdose.
