Treat frequent heartburn, occurring 2 or more days per week, with Up&Up Omeprazole Delayed Release Orally Disintegrating Tablets, 20 mg. Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) are #1 physician recommended type of OTC acid reducer (Of U.S. physicians surveyed by an independent market research firm). An acid reducer, omeprazole is a PPI, which deactivates acid producing pumps in the stomach lining to inhibit acid production. Use once per day (every 24 hours), every day for 14 days.
